The aim of this course is to build upon foundation skills to give students the tools and confidence to communicate effectively in English. A variety of topics will be covered to introduce vocabulary, expressions, and grammatical structures which will be useful in everyday situations and conversations, and the students will use these in pair work, role-play, and information gathering activities with the teacher and their classmates.

Students will be evaluated based on their class participation & effort (20%), classwork & conversations (40%), and final presentation/test (40%).

Students are expected to attend regularly and participate actively in class.
Students must bring a dictionary.
