This course combines reading, listening, and speaking activities with presentation skills and practice. Each week a different topic will be introduced, and students will be expected to discuss, debate, and present their opinions on the topic. The primary aims are as follows:
1. Improve English comprehension skills by reading and discussing various topics
2. Learn how to think critically and express opinions in English through discussions and debates with classmates
3. Study presentation skills and methods for making clear and confident presentations in English

Students will be evaluated based on their class participation & effort (20%), classwork & presentations (40%), and final presentation (40%).

Students are expected to attend regularly and participate actively in class.
Students must bring a dictionary.
